Class ethos
   All of our classes have a friendly, community feel and we welcome people of all ages and abilities. When you join a class crew, you’ll make new friends and maybe take part in new activities. Many crew mates enter local fitness events and train together. We want you to “own” your fitness, so you get the most out of your workout according to your fitness needs. We will help and encourage you, and ensure you perform each exercise safely and correctly. Classes are run by an Advanced Personal Trainer, so you also receive ongoing help, support and training advice from an accredited fitness professional.

       Fit & Flex55 is also exclusively for people aged 55 and over. Fit & Flex 55 is a fitness, flexibility and relaxation class all in one, which means you train your body - and mind. Fitness is a good way to cope with stress and relieve anxiety in the short term, however a clam and peaceful mind is a more effective long term solution. At Fit &Flex55, you’ll train in 3 distinct phases. Firstly, a dynamic, aerobic style class with weights to improve your strength and fitness. Secondly, a stretching and flexibility session using a wide range of techniques to improve joint and muscle mobility. Thirdly, after your body is relaxed, you’ll relax your mind with meditation and breathing exercises. Finally, there’s a chance to compare notes and chat over tea and coffee.

    Kettle bells have been around for nearly 300 years, and there's a very good reason they're still being used - they work! This classic piece of gym equipment works like no other to 
    firm, tone and strengthen muscles. Kettle bells will help you become more coordinated, flexible and help you burn loads of calories! Your cardio vascular fitness will improve, and you will lose weight.In short, they can be used to achieve any fitness goal. 
    To be effective though, Kettle bells have to used correctly and safely. Our fully qualified Kettle bell instructor is also a Personal Trainer, so you get great Kettle bell classes, and Personal Training advice as well.

    Bootcamp gives you the opportunity to challenge and improve your fitness levels in the great outdoors. Come rain or shine, we operate in all weathers!
    Our ex-military instructor will put you through your paces with fitness techniques used by the UK armed forces to keep our servicemen and women in great shape.
     
     Like all of our classes, this is a mixed ability class and all adults of any age and ability are welcome.
     
    Bootcamp is a vigorous and challenging
    class, and utilises a High Intensity Interval approach to bring you rapid fitness gains. It also includes team games and exercises to introduce a competitive element to help motivate and inspire you.

    Our Fitcamp classes are an enjoyable way to lose weight, firm and tone muscles and improve or maintain your fitness. Fitcamp is a multi exercise circuit format, incorporating a High Intensity Interval (HIT) approach. HIT training makes you burn more calories fast and engages your aerobic and anaerobic energy systems. You get the added bonus of a post workout "after burn" as your body makes adaptations to the exercise session, so you continue to burn fat even after the session has finished.
     
    Fitcamp is an ideal way to improve your Cardio and Muscular fitness all in one workout. As a mixed ability class, Fitcamp is great for adults of all ages and abilities . So, if you are new to exercise, returning after a gap, or are already well conditioned and want to add variety and intensity to your training, then Fitcamp is the ideal choice for you.

    Fitcamp 55 is designed exclusively for over 55's to help improve overall fitness and flexibility. The fitness element consists of exercise circuits that will help strengthen and tone your muscles and improve your cardio vascular fitness. There is an emphasis on motor skills training, which helps with co-ordination and balance. After the circuit training, we work on flexibilty to help you keep your muscles and joints mobile and supple.
     
    Fitcamp 55 is a great way to improve and maintain your functional fitness for everyday life, making the things you enjoy so much easier to do.
     
    With free tea and coffee included, and time after class to chat to friends and your instructor, Fitcamp 55 is very sociable and fun!
